This project was extremely fun to create. Every student in my History of Graphic Design class came together to make this piece. We decided that the theme of this print would be, "What would you say to your past self? Or, "How would you describe yourself?"
We titled this piece, "Dear Self,". Each student came up with a phrase to print. The more you stare it, the more you can decipher. We used different colors and types of ink, we used a variety of paper, and we layered the phrases in a different order with almost every print.
By the end we had fifty prints, each unique from the others. On the back of these prints each student signed their name, making this project even more precious in the years to come.
