I created this lyric video in Adobe After Effects. I adore this song, "Float On" by Modest Mouse, because it has such a beautiful meaning that's flooded with emotion.
I wanted this video to be relaxing. Driving slowly through the mountains, with the wind blowing through your hair, and your favorite song on the radio; what could be better?
I chose a 1964 yellow Mustang convertible for sentimental reasons. My grandmother owned one when my dad was young, and they often reminisce of it. The woman in the Mustang strongly resembles my grandmother for this reason.
